Cole Weston

Edward Weston is considered the father of American photography and was awarded the first Guggenheim for photography in 1937. Both his sons, Brett and Cole, went on to be ikons in fine art photography. Cole Weston’s son, Kim, continues the Weston legacy at the same studio in Carmel, California. Twenty years ago I went to see Cole Weston. He talks about his work and insights to his father Edward in an interview at his home in Carmel, California. Interview in 1994.
