I went to FotoFest back in 1990 and it was awesome then. A friend and I never finished looking over the images hung in a five-acre gallery. The meeting place was the greatest opportunity for me. I would sign up for an appointment to see some renouned curator or publisher. Then go out and sign up for another. One after another for several days. It’s changed today, but still an awesome opportunity.
Hear the back story about the world’s largest photography festival from one of its founders, Fred Baldwin, and what it is like being there from photographers and curators attending.
